Requesting new types and/or locations

    • You can request new types and/or locations (e.g. airfields, museums) to be added by going to the Pacific Database website at https://gfiapac.org
    • For a new type, first check if the type has already been requested: select ‘Members Only Section’, ‘Data Requests’, ‘Types’, ‘Current Request List – PacEditors’ If it has not, then select ‘Members Only Section’, ‘Data Requests’, ‘Types’, ‘New Types – Add Request’ and fill out the request form.
    • For a new location (e.g. airfield, museum), first check the main database;
      • for Airfields: ‘Search’, ‘Airfield:-Name’, select country from dropdown menu, click on the next dropdown menu to get a listing of airfields currently in the database. Sometimes the airfield may be known under a slightly different name and already be in the database.

        If it is not already in, email your request to Bob Clarke giving as much detail as possible e.g. full name of airfield, ICAO code, IATA code.

      • for Museums: ‘Museums / Bits’, ‘Museums’, select country from dropdown menu, click on the next dropdown menu to get a listing of museums currently in the database. Sometimes the museum may be known under a slightly different name and already be in the database.

If it is not already in, email your request to Bob Clarke giving as much detail as possible e.g. full name of museum, town/city, country.
