Starting stays at ‘Opening’ – Two Copies Opened
Kevin Jacomb once found that, when starting the Database, he double-clicked the icon on the quick-launch bar. It opened two copies of the database and then, when he clicked on ‘Load and Open’, it said ‘Opening’ but never completed. He then had to click ‘Close and Leave’ to close one copy of the database then click ‘Load and Open’ to open the remaining copy of the database.
Double-clicking the icon on the desktop shouldn’t have this problem. Nor should the icon on the quick-launch bar anymore, oddly. Opening – somehow – two copies might just be the culprit though.
